PERMANENT EXHIBITION IN VÁCLAV HANKA’S NATIVE HOUSE

A small village called Hořiněves is most likely to be made famous by the native, Bohemist, poet and  patriot - Václav Hanka who once ‘discovered’ the Dvůr Králové Manuscript. His native house in Hořiněves still stands in the village; it is a timbered country house built around 1720 to serve as an inn. The MCL Literary Archive has co-organized the permanent exhibition to be on view in Hanka Native House.
