Almanac Literary Archive
About the almanac
The almanac Literary Archive has been coming out annually since 1966. It presents the scientific and professional activities of the Museum while exploits mostly the literary historic source material from the MCL fonds (unpublished manuscripts, correspondence, literary iconographic and other documentary sources). The given contents structure of the almanac remains unchanged. Its heart consists of literary scientific and literary critical studies, editions and news about the Literary Archive, including information on acquisitions in the given period. The yearbook has about 350-400 pages; the price of single copies depends on the almanac extent. Original scholarly works are published on the basis of an independent reviewing procedure. Each of the articles receives two critical/professional assessments. All parts of the almanac are given reviews excluding parts of ‘The Literary Archive Report’. Authors are announced the results of the reviewing procedure within two months following their manuscripts delivery. In 2010, The Literary Archive was indexed in the List of Peer-Reviewed Non-Impacted Periodicals Published in the Czech Republic by the Council for Research, Development and Innovations. Studies published in the almanac have been added to the international databases EBSCO and CEEOL since 2012. Once the study is published in the almanac the author expresses their approval to publish their texts in these databases.
